Drawing on a heritage of distinctive style and meticulous Canadian workmanship, Coppley has been creating outstanding quality tailored garments for the discerning North American male for over 140 years.
Coppley began in the late 1800s manufacturing uniforms for the Canadian military, police, fire & hotel sectors, adding men’s tailored clothing in the early 1920s under a few different brand names.
Coppley established a reputation as a forward-thinking and fashionable apparel firm by the 1980s with a compelling combination of licensed and manufactured brands. In the early 1990s, the company entered the American men’s tailored clothing market and added the brand Coppley. By the late 1990s, the company moved away from licenced brands and consolidated the brands manufactured in Canada under the company’s namesake, Coppley, across North America.
